Yet amidst the industry’s pressure to be serious and marketable, he chooses a different path— embracing humor, absurdity, and eccentric ideas in his songwriting. As a statement that creativity does not have to follow a single formula, the documentary observes Refo’s creative process as he develops his upcoming songs, leading up to an intimate preview at an exclusive listening party with close friends.
