At first, it is thought to be just an accident, but the absence of brake marks makes Kumako a strong suspect... Meanwhile, newspaper reporter Akitani Shigekazu (Sato Koichi) gets caught up in an unexpected situation after breaking the news about Toyosaki Katsuo (Emori Toru), a man who knows Kumako's past...
