Ilona Schulz (born February 26, 1955, in Kassel) is a German actress, voice-over artist, and singer. Ilona Schulz studied at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media from 1976 to 1980, subsequently beginning her stage career at the Theater Hannover. She rose to fame through her role in the musical *Linie 1* by the Berlin-based Grips-Theater, as well as in the feature film adaptation of the same name. The song "Du bist schön, auch wenn du weinst"—which she performed in a Berlin dialect—was later covered by various artists, including the Beatsteaks and Sido.
