Grigoris Valtinos (Greek: Γρηγόρης Βαλτινός, 1955) is a Greek actor. He has starred in all genres of theater, from ancient drama (Sophocles, Euripides, Aristophanes) to comedy and from prose to revue and has been distinguished for his performance, both in the classical and modern repertoire: Neil, Williams, Albee, Miller, Schnitzler, Andreyev, Turgenev, Gurney, Margiulis, etc. Among others, he has collaborated with directors such as: Jules Dassin, Andreas Voutsinas, Frank Hoser, Kostas Tsianos, Stamatis Fasoulis, Vassilis Papavassiliou, Roger Williams, George Theodosiadis, Diagoras Chronopoulos, Dinos Dimopoulos, Stavros Tsakiris. He has also starred in musicals (Fiddler on the Roof, Chekhov the Musical). He has even sung the role of Christ in the Byzantine opera by Yannis Boufidis “Crucifixion”, which is also released on discography, also the role of Constantine Palaiologos in the oratorio by Giorgos Hatzinassios “The Fall of the City” and the eponymous role in the oratorio by Mimis Plessas “Cosmas the Aetolian”.
